@juergen_hubert it sounds great on paper, but without a MM (due out in a month) it seems rather incomplete. I'm waiting on that before I really dive in.
I do dig the DMG organization and most of the changes/updates are things we already were doing or sounds like a really great idea.

@PetterOfCats @juergen_hubert using it with old monsters is really easy. Which kind of proves that it's compatible.
It's how everything was externally tested.

Exhaustion is much more significant, though. It's simpler, but that -2 at level 1 can be rough

@bedirthan @juergen_hubert My biggest grief with 5e is the old MM. I know you can use it with the updates, I personally am choosing not to. I have enough mixed up edition rules in my head I don't wish to confuse myself any further. I want to start with a clean slate.

@carbonara@mastodon.art Well, since I am running a #DnD campaign again (after a player vote), I am sure that the players will want to get and use this at some point. So I'd better be prepared.

@juergen_hubert oh, sorry, so you meant likely, but with a flourish. My bad. Have fun! 😃

(Personally I wouldn't give money to Hasbro if it can be helped. Here's to different games and pirated D&D handbooks)
