This story seems to be written in an older style English, but still is a fun short story. It's a bit predictable at times. But still probably worth reading if you have a little free time.

It's ok, but not great - and I kind of lost track of what was happening. But that maybe because of how long it took me to finish the story and not the story itself.

The first half of this story really echos a lot of what people say now about robots, and A.I. taking over. There is a twist closer to the end that kind of ruins the first part of the story (at least looking at it from modern eyes.) There are so many things this books remind me of, Earth: Final Conflict, parts of I, Robot (2004), "What are little Girls made of " - Star Trek TOS, and more. I can't say for sure if any of these were influenced by this story, maybe in some small way they were. This is another story I want to put on the re-read list, it's a really good story, that probably should get more attention.

Interesting take on "I think therefor I am", or "Mind over matter". The story ends well, but is so short it feels more like a thought experiment then a real story.

This has pretty much every thing you'd want in a pulp hero story, ray guns, death rays, fist fights, and don't forget about the girl.... This will go back on my list of things to re-read.

I might actually be able to finish this story today.

This actually is a pretty quick read, it's just the free time hasn't been my friend recently.

So far, and I'm almost done, this really is great Pulp Fiction, reminding me of Flash Gordon, or Buck Rogers, or Commando Cody (Radar Men from the Moon). Lots of fist fights, laser blasts, and death rays. It's a great story, that I wish I could have read in one sitting. This will be on my re-read list for sure.

Another really good short story. I've hit on some good short stories that are easy and quick to read that fit well into my current reading style.
