Adaptations of the screenplays from the early episodes of the original Star Trek television series.
Finally finished this up. The last story was probably the best. What aired is still better, but I really did enjoy "The Conscience of the King" more then most of the other stories in the book.
For what this book is it's fine. Unfortunately each story in the book is just different enough from what aired to just make it weird.
@kd8bxp Wowser. I remember reading a few Star Trek books by Blish. I haven’t thought about those books in decades. My “To Read” pile of books written in this century is long enough.
Current book is “The Mimicking of Known Successes.”

And honestly I was surprise by just how different this book was from what aired. It's kind of interesting to see what was cut and what was added. I think I'll spend more time re-watching TOS before reading more of these books. Like you I have stacks of books that I want to read, and a stack that I want to re-read.
