@juergen_hubert I first encountered it in the early 90s but never had an opportunity to play. I made a character for a game a few years ago but the game was dead on arrival.

We started playing almost as soon as it was published. It was one of the first English-language RPGs for me, and I think this caused some misinterpretations backin the day.
We played 1e and 2e a lot. I didn’t have any books but got a lot of them later, when the 3e came out and I had different friends. I alsohave the German combined ’Tír Tairngire’ and ’Tír Na nÓg’ as the English versions were long out of print when I tried to get them.
Maybe I should try to run it again.

@pare@kamu.social Shadowrun 1E was my very first role-playing game. My first character was a decker - you may now wince. ;)
The rule system was always the problem - there are arguments which edition is the best, or at least "least worst"...
