I enjoyed the idea of the book, and Wells is a great writer, but I just couldn't really get into it. I suppose I just couldn't relate to it, as it's set over a century ago. Had I been a Victorian (well, a literate Victorian), I probably would've loved it.

A very fun and unusual book. A quite complicated and interconnected storyline – especially towards the end – but I suppose that's intentional.
