My opinion of Bunny has tanked, and I'm finding I have a lot of respect for Henry. Interested to see how the story will progress from here...

Now that I've finished Oryx and Crake, I believe I'll give this book another go.
I barely read a few pages before I last put this down, so I suppose I'd may as well start from the beginning again.

I must say that this was an excellent read. Book-wise, it was a lot of firsts for me: the first book I've finished this year, the first book where I bet on the wrong horse (so to speak; turns out Crake isn't so great after all and Snowman is a better man at the end than he is in the middle), the first book where I couldn't possibly think where the story might go in the sequel, and of course the first Margaret Atwood work I have ever read. I would also say it was the first book where I disliked the protagonist as a person, but that honour goes to Holden Caulfield ("The Catcher In The Rye" by J. D. Salinger).
All in all, a very good book and a very good story. I must read more Atwood, and I can barely wait to read the sequel, "The Year of the Flood".
I've picked up and put down books a lot this year, but I have not finished a single one yet. With just four and a bit months to go, let's hope I can do it this time...
