So I imported all my books and reviews from Storygraph, but there are some surprise ISBN shenanigans (it seems hehe). If something doesn't make sense at all, it's probably because the code sabotaged it^^

Me: a ravenous fantasy (smut) reader, but I used to be more into SFF and who knows, a bunch of those on my TBR... I like writing reviews, and I read whatever tickles my brain or catches my eye. Recommendations welcome!

Review of 'City of Heavenly Fire' on 'Storygraph'

Much better than #5, I thought, and nicely ties up the various loose ends. I think that the portrayal of Sebastian here was really good and went quite in-depth. Definitely some steamy pages, and if you've only see the series so far (Hi, like me), there are a bunch of surprises here!

Incredibly entertaining and really gives you a constricted, nightmarish feeling in places. Excellent read if you like occasionally funny horror.

Didn't like this one as much as the earlier ones - just felt like the story wasn't really moving, and had some lengths. Wouldn't re-read as a standalone (but might do it if I ever read the whole series again).

Jillian York: Silicon Values (Hardcover, 2021, Verso Books)

How Google, Facebook and Amazon threaten our Democracy

What is the impact of surveillance …

Review of 'Silicon Values' on 'Storygraph'

Absolutely brilliant book that will give you an in-depth view of how corporations currently treat content (and maybe some ideas of how they should instead). Cannot recommend highly enough!

Neil Gaiman: American Gods (Italian language, 2003, Mondadori)

American Gods (2001) is a fantasy novel by British author Neil Gaiman. The novel is …

Another re-read: Started it because I hand't read it in a while, and because I'm watching the series as well. Can definitely recommend, even though it's quite different.
