One of the great SciFi stories, and deservedly so!
Some underlying assumptions and currents seem out of place and occasionally even offensive today, however, as an analysis of the interplay of politics and religion it's absolutely fantastic. Very happy I finally made the time to read it, and plan to continue reading this series.
If you're somebody who has watched the movie or mini-series, this will fill in some gaps!

So I imported all my books and reviews from Storygraph, but there are some surprise ISBN shenanigans (it seems hehe). If something doesn't make sense at all, it's probably because the code sabotaged it^^
Me: a ravenous fantasy (smut) reader, but I used to be more into SFF and who knows, a bunch of those on my TBR... I like writing reviews, and I read whatever tickles my brain or catches my eye. Recommendations welcome!

Really amazing read, and delivered more than I expected: An in-depth stroll down internet-memory-lane for me, underpinned with a huge amount of information and sources.
I loved the way chapters are structured as well, discussing various aspects of being a user in the context of platforms (MySpace, Friendster, AOL, to Facebook, Google, Ello (remember that one?) and Wikipedia.
Strong recommendation from me!
