I've been working through this one again gradually as a complement to the MMTCP Training I'm doing and in which the practice of #RAIN features quite prominently. Now that I have more practice under my belt, I'm struck by how versatile the practice truly is and how it not only is connected to other practices (such as #tonglen, and, less explicitly, Nonviolent Communication #NVC), but also complements and is complemented by these same practices.

I am so sick of rain!
The east coast of NSW has been inundated with a 500 year flooding event. An East Coast Low has cause it all.
The map attached only show the areas where I live, thankfully I live on a slight hill (blue dot) and at the moment it's "Watch & Act" but it's really bad.

Removed this large Fire Salamander from the well.

It either lived there (the well is mostly dry due to a leak) or it got syphoned into it with today's heavy . It was resting on top of the only bit of rock that stood above the water surface.

Any advice on how/where to release this fella? I know they need access to water so I might need to find a stream or pond of sorts in the vicinity.

The power of music. It is a miserable grey day here in Shropshire so I put on the ultimate happy song - ELO "Mr Blue Sky".

Solar power generation went up from about 300W to 500W over the 5 minutes. Definitely causation, correlation had nothing to do with it.

It's stopped rainin', everybody's in the play
