It's December 4, so how do you roll for National Dice Day? Hopefully with better scores than our epic DnD inspired commedia dell'arte parody "A Mockery of Mimicry" last year where the audience rolls of a giant D20 determined our plot!

Should we do another D20 Project Play?

Got to *play* a D&D Adventurers League game last night! I saw on the sign-up website that a college buddy of mine was playing the table so I jumped to sign up for the game. Despite having been friends for almost 30 years and both of us playing tons of D&D over the past years, we rolled dice together for the first time last night. About time! It was a great game and we all had a wonderful session.

The early #d20 era of #dnd was wild. #TTRPG publishers would create a setting or a supplement on pretty much any conceivable topic and rush it to market, causing a massive glut of products. And, as a result, the quality of these products was... variable.

I've never really investigated how Hamunaptra: Egyptian Adventures rates in this regard, but the boxed set is still among my belongings.

I realised I hadn't shared my "Dice Guardians" with you all. These were made by my youngest for me this Christmas and now guard my oldest set of dice (the set from the original D&D starter box)
