Classic Harry Hole. Loved to revisit the older title, after going through the newer ones already. Surprisingly, Harry didn’t sustain significant damage in this one. There are two parallel plots going on, the serial killer emerging from this book and an internal story stemming from the previous book, but you’ll be happy to know they all tie off nicely at the end.
As always, Nesbo’s writing is almost cinematic, every scene as if transcribed from a movie screen, slowly building to the final crescendo. Crime mystery at its finest.
