Terry Kevin Amthor: Shadow World Master Atlas - Second Edition (Hardcover, 1992, IRON CROWN ENTERPRISES) No rating

Shadow World is probably one of the more obscure #ttrpg settings out there. I never really got into #Rolemaster , but this setting had a fascinating vibe, with its science fiction elements, deep history, energy streams, many small continents and island chains, and isolated cultures.

You could probably run some very interesting campaigns set in this world. Has anyone here done anything with it?

@juergen_hubert I played for close to a decade in a multi-pronged mega-campaign set in Shadow World. The GM didn't like Rolemaster, and used Hârnmaser as the game engine, with major additions (I worked on the system a lot).

The combination of gritty Hârn realism combined with high (science) fantasy was absolutely brilliant. The setting just oozes character, and the major movers and shakers are great (like the Dragonlords, Andraax the K'ta'vir and so forth).

Highly recommended.
