roleplaying game book

Another one in the category "Weird #TTRPG That Time Forgot", Nephilim was a game where the player characters were reincarnations of supernatural creatures reborn in the modern world - though with a rather weirder basic concept than the "World of Darkness" games.

Who else has this #ttrpg , and who bas played it?

@juergen_hubert I thought about getting it back in the day but half of the members of my group couldn't stop rolling their eyes over various details of the book. Strangely, it was the avowed neopagans who thought the book was an afront to their beliefs only worthy of contempt.

@juergen_hubert
I've got a battered used copy sitting on my shelf. I've never actually run it, mostly because I'm not really sure how I'd get players, and how I'd explain any of the backstory to those players.

@juergen_hubert huge game in France, many people played it, and many still play. It's in its fifth edition now, though it is mainly an actualisation of the second (ie the best one, with which I played during hundreds of happy hours).
