I came across a post about "Aestus" (Book 1) by S.Z. Atwell (@szattwellauthor) during Independent Author Month in April. It seemed to tick a lot of boxes for me: -adjacent, , , etc.... So, I gave it a go! I finally finished the novel about week ago and I have been thinking about it since. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Well-written, engaging, thought-provoking, with excellent characters. 1/4
