I thought this was an outstanding middle-book, which almost seamlessly continued the story from Blood Song onwards. I particularly liked that the focus shifted from Vaelin superstar to different PoVs including the strong viewpoints of Lyrna and Reva. You can't help but feel terrible for the poor, abused slave and his utterly terrifying mistress without a name.

Looking forward to the conclusion!
