The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest (original title in Swedish: Luftslottet som sprängdes, lit. 'The castle in the air that blew up') is the third novel in the best-selling Millennium series by Swedish writer Stieg Larsson. It was published in Swedish in 2007; in English, in the UK, in October 2009; and in the US and Canada on 25 May 2010. The three novels in the series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2005), The Girl Who Played with Fire (2006), and The Girl who Kicked the Hornets' Nest were written by Stieg Larsson before being shown to a publisher and were published posthumously after his fatal heart attack in 2004. Additionally, all three novels were adapted as films.

At last everything is put in order. The bad guys pay and the good guys win. I couldn't expect less.

Lisbeth is like always so cold and so genius but this time you get to see how she does want company. She wants someone, a friend, anyone, even though she likes being alone too. And Mikael is unbearable to her sometimes, even though she likes him in a weird way.

I don't know, I liked it and it's a good way to end everything. The ending is perfect, that last part, that last line.

Stieg was really a great writer. Awesome character Lisbeth. I'll miss her.

3.5 for this book from me. Does not really measure up to the other two, especially not the first one. I have seen someone say that this book felt unedited and rambling, not anywhere as tight and gripping as the other two. If you have read the other books of the trilogy, you want to complete it, but be prepared for some really BORING moments where the author just goes on about finer points about the Swedish constitution than any reader could possibly care about.
