An amusing enough concept to get me to purchase the book, but not enough to sustain a mediocre mystery.

Review of 'Firefly - Big Damn Hero' on 'Goodreads'

I really, really wanted to like this more. It was fine, but doesn't really live up to the storytelling of the original episodes or the movie. Also, the authors seemed a little too eager to prove they'd watched the episodes all the way through at least once, because they really peppered in references to them--sometimes only in passing. I'll probably still read the next book and hope it feeds my Firefly jones a little better than this one did.
