There's really nothing special about this book. Not bad, but not great either. it's a fun world and interesting characters, but the author intentionaly makes and entire species a bit shallow and it doesn't fit based on their years of experience. May pick up the second if it's on sale, but really that's the only reason right now I would continue the series.
