The Gone-Away World

Enjoyed this book but really got lost in the verbosity of it. Many times you spent pages and pages going through something, simply for a single line payoff later. It is smart and funny, some suspension of reality is needed, but again a real interesting read. More of a 3.5 than a 3.

It's fantastical with a touch of surreal. The writing gets pretty dense sometimes, but it's a good kind of dense. Like a dense moist cake - very satisfying!
