Review of "The Wheel of Osheim (Red Queen's War)" on 'Goodreads'

It's pretty frustrating to get all the way through this series to get stuck with this. I love the world that is set up, but for some reason Lawrence decided to try to explain why magic exists, but I felt it was half-hearted and ruined some of the appeal.

I also had a real hard time understanding the timing of this book. How did it fit with the Thorns timing?
