I really, really wanted to like this book more than this. It's actually a wonderful story about love, loss, and how we hold on to things past. The sections of writings taking about Lincoln are good (I believe they are non-fiction) and some more than others. But I'm honestly left with a feeling of "blah". The humor wasn't great, the reactions are so so, and it felt like it took way too long to develop. It's probably because of the interludes..

Oh well, on to the next book....
