No where near as good as the first book, but still very good. Superb writing as always, what bothered me was some character regression. We saw a ton of growth in someone all through Age of Myth, only to have it kicked to the side and we had to see that same growth happen again.

Additionally, I'm not sure if it is Michael's intention or just the choice of character we follow... but the fhrey are really beginning to grate on me.
