Really enjoyed this one more than the first. Excellent story, excellent characters. I have to give credit to Kloos as well, this was anything but a simple transition book. Authors tend to make their 2nd book in a series a transition to climax ending. All Kloos would have had to do is handle characters and a small amount of development and it could have stood on its own. Yet it still prepared you for the next climatic events sure to take place in the next story. Bravo!
