First book of the new year. Excellent read, very rich in language, tongue in cheek stories about cats; presumably Carmiggelt's own cats, although some bits seem rather unlikely. As a bonus: pretty illustrations by Bertram, including cover.

This was light reading. Could've finished it in one evening. However, after a while I was a bit fed up with all the cat business. So, postponed it a bit.

Nonetheless, recommended, for Dutch readers. Likely, no English translation.
