Review of 'Just for Show' on 'Goodreads'

Reread April 2022: this is one of my favorite fake-romance stories (along with Who’d Have Thought by G. Benson and Mutual Benefits by HP Munro). Just for Show really highlights Jae’s skill writing strong characters with insecurities and self-doubts. Somehow I forgot how STEAMY this was, so it was nice to stumble into their “take me to bed” scene. I was invested in their happily ever after, but the story didn’t really get me in my Feelings(TM) - 4.5 stars

Sept 2020: this is the second book by Jae that I’ve read, and I enjoyed the polar opposites vibe between Claire and Lana. I appreciated Lana’s … everything, but especially enjoyed the way she slowly unravels the tight grip Claire has on every aspect of her life.
