I enjoy science fiction works, and some detective stories. Mostly short stories, and mostly works that have entered into the public domain. Don't have a lot of time to read which I'm hoping will change in this new year.

2026 Reading Goal

LeRoy Miller has read 0 of 12 books.

Finished "Balance of Terror" tonight, I was excited to read this one. But ended up being a little disappointed. What aired is a lot better. What I am realizing about this book, it's good, but it isn't what was aired and what finally aired in all cases have been better. I think Dagger of the Mind is probably the closest so far to what aired.

Finally finished "The Unreal McCoy" - I've slowed way done in reading lately. Anyway, I wonder what this was, looks like it's "The Man Trap". It been a while since I've watched that episode. But it seems like it's almost the same as what aired. But I think what aired is probably better.

Fun short story, if not somewhat predictable.

This story seems to be written in an older style English, but still is a fun short story. It's a bit predictable at times. But still probably worth reading if you have a little free time.

It's ok, but not great - and I kind of lost track of what was happening. But that maybe because of how long it took me to finish the story and not the story itself.
