G.T. Fleming-Roberts, Allen Anderson: Hooded Detective - January 1942 (Paperback, Adventure House) No rating

Finished listening to story six, seven and eight. Number six, The Strange case of William Long, a true crime story. The reading of this story feels a bit robotics, and that made it hard to listen too. Number seven, A Dinner date with Murder. This is a short story to listen to, just under 9 mins. The reader was good, and had some voice characterization. I suspect that the characterization is more likely because of how the story writes the character with a stereotypical accent. The story is good, and probably would make a good starting point for a longer story. Story number eight, Artistic Murders Misfire. A true facts story. This talks about 18 different scientific ways to commit a murder or to cover up a murder. And why even then it's hard to get away with it. With means, motive and access still leading detectives to the guilty party. This is a good way to end the magazine. And the reader was good and easy to listen too.
