I didn't know if I had it in me to read a book about Covid, but David Quammen is such a great science writer that I decided to give it a try. He made the subject fascinating and explained very complicated issues extremely clearly.

@MattChambers Also a fan of Quammen. In 2012 he wrote Spillover: Animal Infections and the Next Human Pandemic, which I've been meaning to read but also putting off because too much climate+biodiversity doom already and ... here we are.

@hackneymartian Spillover is great too. Of course, I read it before Covid, so I don't know how it would be to read it now.
