I have books I intend to read but bad reading habits for actually getting around to them.

My books on here aren't all my books but are just ones that are relevant to my reading activity in recent years.

Mike Chen: Vampire Weekend (2023, Harlequin Enterprises ULC) No rating

Wasn't quite feeling it at first, but I'm glad I finished.

Unexpected marathon session at the end. But it got done.

Vampires, pop music, and bits of Chinese-American heritage. Put together in an interesting story.

finished up to chapter 22

seriously this is like Ms. Vampire Who Lives In My Neighborhood except it's drama instead of feelgood slice-of-life

also the lead character is the vampire and it's in california rather than japan and she tries to hide the fact that she's a vampire and she's not as old as sophie is etc. etc.

(but at least the werewolves are still fictional!)

finished reading The Compass Stone by James L. Sutter (Pathfinder Tales)

James L. Sutter: The Compass Stone (EBook, Paizo) No rating

deep (in more ways than one) dive into the lore of the Pathfinder games, in a pretty compelling (and sometimes dark, also in more ways than one) story.

you may want to have the Pathfinder Wiki on hand when reading, especially to figure out where specific named locations are, as Eando does wander through quite a lot of geography. though do be aware that if you look up the main character (or some other articles) you may find spoilers.
