I kind of wish I'd written down my thoughts on this series as I went or at least right after I've finished it because now I'm not fully sure what to say about it. Overall I enjoyed it. The premise is nice and the characters are intriguing. After reading the first volume I was curious to see where the series was going to go and ready to read more... but as I went on my interest really dropped off. The last two volumes in particular I skimmed through more than read. I could identify several points that made me feel this way but each on their own isn't really a huge deal, I guess it just wasn't the series for me.
