I bought this book on a whim during our vacation in #Verona in the hopes of finding some interesting #hiking routes during our vacation. We only ended up walking along one of them, since the others were difficult to reach from our hotel. But maybe I will actually read the book one day, in order to see what I missed - or might visit during a future visit to the region.
Okay, I've decided on a time for my first vacation to #Italy in 30 years - August 23 to September 1st. And I think #Verona and surrounding areas might be a good place to start, since it should be possible to get there via train within a single day from Oldenburg.
I still need to figure out the details, though. Where exactly will I stay, and what places should I visit (using local public transportation)? Is anyone here from the area and could give me some advice?
