Clark Strand, Perdita Finn, Sophie Strand: The Way of the Rose (AudiobookFormat, 2019, Random House Audio)

Before a vision of a mysterious “Lady” invited Clark Strand and Perdita Finn to pray …

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27

Heavenly Father,

In the chaos of life, when burdens grow heavy, may those who seek You find peace. When minds are restless and hearts are weary, remind them that You are near—the refuge in the storm, the steady hand that calms the waves.

🙏 Weekly Prayer Requests 🙏

Lately, I have felt called to pray on the behalf of people who feel like they could use a little spiritual support.

If you would like me to pray for you, please comment your name or nickname below.

If you wish, you can also add some context if you'd like me to pray for you for a specific reason. Otherwise, it'll be a generic prayer for prosperity, wellbeing, happiness, and spiritual guidance. I'll pray for you once a day from today until next Tuesday. 💕

I don't speak Hebrew, but I've always been a geek.

When I was a kid, I saw a pattern and assumed that prayers were like a protocol, you began with headers, and prayer body, and then you ended the prayer with a termination word (Amen).

Attached is a diagram

The saint Shibli one day went to see Nuri; he found him sitting so still in contemplation that not a hair of his body moved.

He asked him, 'From whom did you learn to practice such fixity of contemplation?'

Nuri answered, 'From a cat which I saw waiting at a mouse-hole in an attitude of even greater fixity than this.'
