is best when it doesn't take its self too serious....
taking on serious topics, in a humorous and fun way.
But not all episodes were humorous, and not all episodes were serious.
I think there are more fun episodes that I remember thou.

There is something strangely fascinating with the "Space Probe Taurus" - like there was almost a good idea (or two, or three). Coming out in 1965, before - I can't help but to wonder, if the ideas were a little more fleshed out, if there was a reason that Earth was looking for a new planet to live on. If it was a TV pilot - if we lived in a different time-line would this be ?

Scully should be a verb, or: The Search for Gillian Taylor*

Content warning Star Trek: Lost to Eternity -- no real spoilers, but a few hints

Watching The Enemy Within, and just made one of the worse leaps in I've heard.
Something to the effect of "There is just one logical conclusion - We have an impostor on board."

While, just before, Scotty explained about the dog creature, and Scotty knew or suspected there was something wrong with the transporter before he beamed up Kirk - so it seems the leap should have been, there had been a split, or a duplicate. Not an impostor

A totally amazing find at a yard sale yesterday - there has to be over 100 all of them for $10.00 U.S.

Each stack has at least 10 books, some stacks have more. There are 11 stacks - so at least 110.
I'd guess it's closer to 130ish. 10 Bucks!!!!

I will not need to buy any new books for a long long time.

I saw I didn't see any but that doesn't really mean anything.

Mostly I see a lot of books

This trippy illustration of Lucille Ball in a "Star Trek" uniform has been my desktop background for a while now, because it's awesome and still looks great in ultrawide.

It's from this article on the official "Star Trek" site about Desilu's role in the genesis of TOS: https://www.startrek.com/news/how-lucille-ball-helped-star-trek-become-a-cultural-icon (artist uncredited)

Gillian: "Sure you won't change your mind?"
