Peter Kathe: Heisses Land Buluga (2003, Pegasus Spiele) No rating

ah, archeology again... did you know that the classic roleplaying supplement "The City of Carse" was based on an actual place? Turns out the map is basically a repurposed map of Caernarfon in Wales.

did I read that anywhere in the English-speaking net?

No, of course not, I learned it from a page about the German supplement Corrinis, which did not mention it was a translation of Carse at all, but mentioned the RL inspiration.

Going through rough times and got myself a little treat: Someone sold me a couple of old boxes (3rd ed, 1989) with the original yellowed character sheets and dice. Won‘t pick the game up in the near future, but I have loads of nostalgia for Midgard, Germany‘s oldest . I was introduced to the hobby with this game, and who knows, after all, I like re-exploring old games. Midgard features skill-based mechanics, and facilitates adventuring in a low fantasy environment. 1/2
