Was fun

The writing was fun and creative, each chapter written in a different style. It had some of the humor of the Map-Men youtube channel. Great for a light read. Just not giving it 5 stars because I would not rank it at the very top of my nonfiction books. The writing is not beautiful or poetical, the chapters not really connected, to each other but rather a lose but nicely varied collection under the same overarching theme. And the topic of that book did not change my whole perspective on the world like some of my favourite non-fiction books do. It's not a must-read, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do, if you enjoy the YouTube channel or maps and you have a sense of humor you will likely enjoy the book. really fun, brief tour of some wrong maps

got it on audiobook, really enjoyed it. some very interesting topics discussed, fascinating facts. and all told in the light-hearted way the Map Men are known for on youtube.

on audiobook it's narrated by them, each chapter feels kind of like a long youtube piece, with all their humour and style coming through.

very well done, and if you enjoy their youtube channel you'll probably enjoy this too.

audiobook does come with a pdf of the maps if you want, though i found aside from a brief look at the map for each chapter, it wasn't really necessary to keep it open.
