Review of 'WWW : wake' on 'Storygraph'

A nice exploration of what it means to be conscious and the emergence of consciousness, both human and non-human. The book is written on a level that I would consider to be teen reading; I got through it rather quickly. And the concepts explored could be fleshed out in greater detail in something closer to what I'd consider hard science fiction. Still, for what it is I found the book enjoyable and will read the next two in the trilogy.

P.S. This is not a rollicking adventure, more an exploration of concepts. So, if what your looking for is lots of action this may not be for you.
