This book starts of a little slow, but by the end it's amazing (slow start lost it a star). There's a bit of action, politics, sci-fi-ness, everything. Really enjoyed this once I broke the hump of the beginning.

Can't say it was the best Scalzi I've read, it did have some humor, but I found I felt pulled by too many things. There are some details that are well documented, but once you get a handle on it there's something new to think about...Worth the read if you are a Scalzi fan.
