Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. Dennis E. Taylor’s hilarious novel sets the stage for the magnificent performance of Ray Porter, who revels in the brave new world of corpsicles, artificial intelligence, interstellar space probes, and space colonization in tantalizing detail.
A very light, fun read. Very much in the vein of John Scalzi genre aware science fiction.
I found this really funny—just what the doctor ordered this week. The narrator (Ray Porter) is phenomenal—I can hardly wait to listen to more of his work. I hope the rest of the series will be as much fun!
