Review of 'Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1)' on 'Storygraph'

I love the writing style, and I think parts of the commentary on the climate crisis are great. However, that's about it. I didn't like the plot and the romances are insta-love.

I think it's a shame, because I loved the first few chapters, with the way Juliette's thoughts are expressed. But as soon as the plot started, it quickly lost my interest.

I really, really liked this book. I fell in love with Warner from the first page he appeared so I cannot wait to read the companion novel now! I do wish he had appeared a lot more than he did... kinda sad that Adam had more protagonism than him. So not cool.

I really liked Kenji! He's so funny. And James, too, that child is better than his brother so yeah.

So excited to know more about this world and Juliette!
