Interesting.... easy read, ending not what I expected.

This was another easy to read short story, it seemed familiar but different. I'm thinking I heard a story something like from maybe X-Minus one, or another old radio program. Thou, the ending wasn't what I thought - it wasn't a twist per-say - I just wasn't expecting it.
It gets a three star rating mostly because the "science" part of "science fiction" is really missing. It's a good story thou, just have to suspend believe too much to rate anything higher for me.
