Review of 'Escape from Reason: A Penetrating Analysis of Trends in Modern Thought' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Surprisingly accessible book. I thought it was going to be a bit difficult and heavy handed, but it was an extremely easy read with some fantastic insights to how we got to where we are with our modern minds. I think he’s really hard on Aquinas, as J.P. Moreland points out. I am interested in how he weave the art of the time into how the people’s minds were being formed. Good stuff.
