Plenty of reviewers have already covered this book in great detail. I had read one of the predecessors in the Heartcross series so this was marginally even more fun than if read as a standalone. I would now like to read the other book and any future books in the series.

Why write down details of an email when you could have simply forwarded it to Stuart?
How did Allie know the second client had a dog when she had been watching guinea pigs in the surgery since they arrived?
"Any way" is not the same as "anyway".
Somebody's son is "he", not "it".
Allie was wrong to say she had lived in Heartcross all her life.
A cottage described as being on the outskirts of a village is hardly "in the heart" of it.
Allie's surname capitalization varies throughout the book, and the …
