This author has a huge following and I am still trying to figure out why. I only read Feed so far and hated it, but was willing to give her urban fantasy a shot. I would say 3.5 stars would be about right. Based in New York with a female protagonist who loves to ballroom dance and study monsters, it was entertaining enough and probably the same quality as, say, the first Harry Dresden novel. I doubt this will pick up in quality as the Dresden Files did, but we'll see.
