Review of 'Library at the Edge of the World' on 'Goodreads'
5 stars
Good story about personal development and community togetherness in the face of political machinations, with three generations of women centre-stage and some delightful other characters. Ending pleasingly leaves a few questions waiting for a sequel. I hope my library has more in the series.
Not quite enough commas for my taste - I started school in the 1940s - but punctuation better than
the average of recent books I have read.
Other notes for proofreader (far fewer than for many books):
"Barbra Streisand" - OK, this is fiction, but you should use correct spelling when clearly referring to real people
"the nuns' garden"
"back-pedalling"
