A Great and Terrible Beauty

Realmente sería un 2.5, pero como es más un 3 que un 2 lo dejo así.

This book is very much indeed great and terrible. While I'm not much of a fantasy fan, this book really intrigued me at first. I expected something else from this book and that's partly my fault. Although, Gemma's so called friends were sickenly disgusting, which I absolutely loved. I think that was the only thing I loved about this book. The rest of it was just "eh".

The beginning reminds me a bit of The Secret Garden, but then it ends up a little like a Dead Poets Society for girls. Enjoyable.
