I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It's normally not my kind of book, additionally it is definitely not one you'd call "fast-paced" or "thrill-ride". So when I venture outside my normal genre of reading, I don't normally like books don't include those tags. But I really enjoyed this book. Continuously wanted to read more, even though I wouldn't say there were many characters to actually like. I still empathized with the key few. I'd be willing to recommend this one.
