Review of "Isaac's Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History" on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Really interesting. Has some slow portions, but inevitably you find they did add much to the narrative. I've been to Galveston many times and the storm and its effects were mentioned but often pushed under the rug. Hearing the tales makes me want to return and explore the city in a new light.
