There was a shift in tone in this volume that I found a bit jarring.

In the previous books Atticus has been a defender and the one who was targeted, while in this one he's on the offensive - albeit reluctantly.

I enjoyed the bonding interlude in the forest where each of the company relates their encounters with Thor. Felt like it bit of an homage to Chaucer and Canterbury Tales.
