The Tea Dragon Society is a story about a young blacksmith girl named Greta that doesn't understand the importance of her craft. She feels it singles her out as it isn't practiced much anymore, and that while more in demand long ago, her family's creations aren't as popular as they once were. But, when she finds a lost tea dragon and returns it to its owner, she meets a lot of wonderful people who come to change her perspective.

This graphic novel is a nice one with a lot of love put into it, but that's really all I can say, that it's nice. I feel the pacing was too fast to really enjoy the characters, scenery, and flow of seasons through the chapters. Sweet Tea Dragons

The Tea Dragon Society was so cute! I struggle a bit with graphic novels because I’m not very visual and have to actively remember to look at the pictures, but I really enjoyed this one. This was the sweetest concept and such a cozy story. I love the idea of tea dragons! I showed them to my daughter, and we agree that we both want one.

Really really sweet and fun, a faster read than I expected (although the back matter is denser). Our son was gifted a copy in hardcover, and I had to get my own (ppbk tho). (Admittedly, I was struck by one of the cover character's resemblance to an internet personality.)

Anyway, I liked the variety and detail of the characters, and the subjects (blacksmithing, tea, dragons, relationships, memory, craft). I look forward to reading other books by this author/artist.

Would definitely recommend, especially for gifting.
