In this bestselling book Barack Obama discusses the importance of empathy and inclusiveness in politics, his hopes for a different America with different policies, and how the ideals of its democracy can be renewed. A senator and a lawyer, a professor and a father, a Christian and a sceptic, Obama has written a book of transforming power that will inspire people the world over.

Review of 'The Audacity of Hope' on 'Goodreads'

Barack Obama is eloquent and wonderfully engaging each time he describes interaction with people. He is also very dry when he talks about politics and views on economy, race, religion, family, etc.
Unfortunately, all those thoughts we heard repeated endlessly during his presidential campaign. It would have been a great read to get to know Barack Obama BEFORE we learned it all during his bid for the White House.
